“I only use natural, non-toxic cleaning supplies in my home. Those are a lifesaver,” the actress, 41, tells UsMagazine.com. “It’s just so important to make sure your children are safe. So many people don’t realize these hidden dangers that are in their homes. There’s really no need to have those hazards on your list.”

“I have an emergency kit in my pocketbook at all times that has a band-aid, a little Neosporin, two Tylenols and some antiseptic,” Zarin, 46, tells Us. “And you know what? I can’t tell you how many times I’ve needed it.”
“I always make sure we have dinner the same time, pretty much every night. We have a home-cooked meal every night,” Richards, 39, tells Us. “And they go to bed at the same time. To keep them on a good schedule, I find, is a lifesaver.”
“You know those mozzarella string cheese sticks? I try to carry those. Kids love those, crackers, pretzels and carrots,” the Kids Are All Right actress tells Us. “I try to have all of that for the times when they’re hungry — and they can get hungry really fast!”
